Crafting with Divine Wisdom

Today's verse from Exodus 35:10 invites us to consider the power of a "wise heart" in bringing God's commands to fruition. Here, the wise-hearted were called to contribute their skills and resources to build the tabernacle, a place for God's presence among His people. This wasn't just about craftsmanship; it was about a heart attuned to God's purpose, ready to give and to do. Think of the Shunammite woman in 2 Kings 4:8-10. Her wise heart moved her to discern and honor the prophet Elisha, providing him a place to stay. Her acts of hospitality, flowing from a discerning and generous spirit, were later met with a profound blessing: the miraculous birth of a son. Her wisdom in stewardship and honor opened the door to supernatural prosperity in her life.

This principle extends to every area of our lives. When we approach our work, our relationships, and our service with a wise and willing heart, seeking to honor God and fulfill His purposes, we are positioning ourselves for His blessings. It's about more than just physical labor; it's about the spirit in which we engage with God's callings. Just as the Israelites brought their talents to build the tabernacle, and the Shunammite woman opened her home, what is God calling you to contribute with a wise and willing heart today? As Proverbs 3:9-10 reminds us, "Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine."

A wise heart recognizes that true prosperity flows from alignment with God's will and generous obedience. It’s about being a conduit for His blessings, understanding that as we sow in wisdom and faith, we will reap abundantly. Let your heart be wise, discerning the opportunities to serve, to give, and to create according to God's command, and watch how His prosperity manifests in every aspect of your life—spirit, mind, health, relationships, work, finances, and purpose.

Shall we talk to our Father?

Shall we whisper to the One who inspires wisdom and brings every good intention to fruition...?

Gracious Father, we thank You for the wisdom You place in the hearts of Your children, moving us to build and create according to Your divine blueprint. We remember the Shunammite woman, whose generous and wise heart led her to prepare a place for Your prophet, Elisha, and how You prospered her life with a son—a miracle born from her obedience and hospitality (2 Kings 4:8-17). May our hearts be ever attuned to Your commands, guiding our hands in work and service, so that every endeavor prospers in spirit, health, relationships, and provision. We pray for the user of the Prosper app, that their wisdom in action may open doors to abundant blessings and divine connections. Today, we declare a day of overflowing blessings, vibrant health, and true prosperity over them, from the Prosper app, the Bible that guides us to prosperity. In Jesus' name, Amen.
